Hi, I’m Jennifer Barry. I realized back in 2003 that I would not be happy working for someone else, so I started a business selling bullion on the internet. I started writing about financial topics to promote myself. After 4 years, I decided that I wanted to write full-time, so I closed my successful business and started a newsletter on global trends, Global Asset Strategist. In it, I write about precious and base metals, energy, housing, structural stress within the financial system, and corruption in the financial markets.
In 2005, I realized that many of my possessions were not making me happy, but had become burdens. Among the things I sold was the house my husband and I lived in. Now instead of maintaining a home, I have more time, energy, and money to travel and pursue other activities I enjoy.
I live in Dallas, Texas with my husband and two cats.
Please feel free to contact me at jennifer@globalassetstrategist.com.
All the best, Jennifer

I want to leave a comment of thanks for defining Mortgage Backed Securities. I have never completely understood how a loan, debt, could be turned around and sold as a commodity for investment.
